Gypsy Moth spray treatment
We offer a one time spray treatment in May or June. We use a licensed pesticide product by the Government of Ontario to kill the caterpillars immediately that come in contact with it upon spraying and also leaves an ongoing residual for the following months.
It is important to treat your trees or you can expect continued defoliation.
This moth is a significant pest because the caterpillars have voracious appetites for more than 300 species of trees and shrubs, posing a danger to North America's forests. The caterpillars defoliate trees, leaving trees vulnerable to diseases and other pests and can eventually kill the tree.
